My Barbering journey started in 2007

About Me

Since 2015, I have proudly called Astoria my home, serving our local communities as a professional barber. I first earned the Oregon licenses needed to Barber back in 2007.

I am currently Barbering at Oly’s Barbershop, a classic old school barbershop, the very shop where for over 100-years Astorians have come to get their hair cut.

The vintage barber-chairs we use are functioning works of history almost as old as the building.

Please picture yourself settling into a chair from a different era—sharing life stories as tens of thousands before you have done.

This buildings was Svens Uppertown Barbershop in the 1930s and has had many barbershops occupy this space since.

I'll do my part to honor barbers before me by making longer hair shorter. and giving a quality haircut at a fair price.

What is a "Buzz Cut"

A Buzz Cut is a haircut that a barber could do 70% of blindfolded, using only 1 or 2 clipper guards, No scissors, No electric or manual razors.

It's Ultra low maintenance short or if left longer easily works for gents with only a fryer tuck style hairline.

What is "Beard Work"

Beard Work is offered as an add-on service not a standalone service. Get your beard shaped or get it shaved off, complete beard/stubble removal will be finished with a foil shaver not a straight razor at least not for $10
